a time of transition, beautiful weather, and foliage!

All our concerts take place at 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon as shown below.
Our Paint the Pumpkin event is on a Saturday, as also shown below.

A Free Will Offering is taken.
All concerts are followed by refreshments and a chance to meet the musicians.

The Meeting House is located at
1213 Putnam Pike (Route 44), Chepachet, RI, a few feet west of the rotary.

Celebrating the Pacific -- The Music of California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii
We will open our thirty-seventh year with "Celebrating the Pacific -- The Music of California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii." This will be the final concert in a series of seven, starting several years ago, featuring American songs that celebrate different regions of our country – in commemoration of America's 250th Anniversary. Previous concerts celebrated: the South, the Midwest, New England, the Mid-Atlantic, Appalachia, and the Plains/Mountain states.

Paint The Pumpkin Festival
 The Chepachet Baptist Church will be participating in Chepachet's SCARECROW FESTIVAL. We also hope to have pony rides and a petting zoo in our adjacent field. As a contribution to that very enjoyable event, we will hold our annual and very popular PAINT THE PUMPKIN FESTIVAL for children of all ages at the church from 10:00 AM to 2:00PM -- bring your kids and your/their creativity!  We will supply the paint and pumpkins for free! There will be adult supervision throughout.

The Meeting House will also be open for guided tours!

U.S. Coast Guard Academy Glee Club and Choir
Music at the Meeting House will welcome back THE U.S. COAST GUARD ACADEMY GLEE CLUB AND CHOIR, from New London, for a concert to conclude our celebration of America's 250th Anniversary. In addition to their choir, they plan to bring a Coast Guard brass quintet. There will also be veteran performers from our Music at the Meeting House series. Those who attended the Coast Guard Academy concert here four years ago will attest that this should be a truly memorable concert. More details to come!

An American Christmas
We will open the Christmas season with our annual Christmas Concert, this year entitled, "An American Christmas." This inspiring program will feature both popular and sacred Christmas music by American composers – from Phillips Brooks and Edmund Sears to Leroy Anderson and Irving Berlin. We last celebrated "An American Christmas" four years ago in 2022.. We will welcome back Grace Norton, Amanda Santo, Arielle Rogers Wilkey, Glenn Zienowicz, Diane Petit, and possibly others, accompanied by Marie Kane on the piano with Klancy Martin on trumpet. We hope to have bells, brass and other instruments for this concert. Guest organist Donald Dame will play the historic E. W. Lane tracker pipe organ as the audience sings Christmas hymns. Pastor Corbin will read the Christmas Story from Matthew and Luke. It will be a wonderful afternoon to celebrate Advent and launch the Christmas season!
